There's no wind, no people around.
But, I have heard an uncanny sound.
The slides of the windows danced
As stormy winds upon it pranced.
The waning moon has lost its ray
For the lack of light so to say.
A large winged nocturnal bird
Stretched its wings moon-ward.
Was there anybody breathing just
Behind my shoulder and burst
Into laughter invisibly right then?
I saw a shadow near windowpane.
A sudden whirl entered into room.
Astonished I noticed a flying broom.
A pumpkin-faced witch hovered in
The air with her old wrinkled skin.
Such a face I haven't ever seen,
Before this night of Halloween.
This is really a pretty image of that horrible Halloween. It's a pretty poem. Thanks.
Witches and goblins will rough you up steal your lunch and then your sup Feed them chocolate and they'll go away If you don't, they'll stay and play...
