Hands Firm On The Pulse Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Hands Firm On The Pulse

Hands firm on the pulse
I am a Poet-Seer and thus my duty:
Aid me if you will
Come carry some weight with me
For sunset is deep in
And dusk be lighting
And decline of day is in the offing
And some night stars peep out
Already
Though no moon glare as yet.:
Aid me.
