Hands In Open Fold Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Hands In Open Fold

Rating: 5.0

I am part of lovely universe
No unhappiness, no pain and no curse
Just I live on with aim to unite
In same earth when life is not infinite

As they say body is made of five elements
I have no hesitation to offer comment
Yes that is the origination
I have firm bond and relation

Life may be of temporary nature
Yes I see very bright future
To stay as much as possible
Align completely and offer no struggle

When birds can sing in happiness?
Why should I hold sullen face?
Make it know to people that I am selfish
And regret when time comes to perish

Many statues I find all around
Of great statesmen and leaders on ground
With inscriptions” great son who fought for us”
Lost his fortune and life for noble cause

One in million lives appear such figure
Who does extra ordinarily for our future?
We all owe our allegiance and trust
At least that much respect is must

Make the resolve and solve
All burning problems and prove
You are worth human being
Peaceful songs are meant to sing

You will leave the world
With hands in open fold
Nothing to accompany at last moment
So enjoy life and never resent
