He's A Queen Poem by Ramona Thompson

He's A Queen

Well, it's official
Our boy has come out
Or has he?
He's gay
Or is he?
Maybe he's still playing all of you
May this whole big confession cover story is just part of the game

I know the truth
I always have
I could even tell you
If I really, really wanted to
But I don't and I won't
At least not now
Not quite yet

Can't you all see
The truth is as plain as day
Me and him
We've been in on this together
Ever since day 1
We've had every step including his shocking coming out party planned
All to launch the career of the next musical megastar

And it's working
Lord, sweet lord, how well it is working
Got all our hard work paying off at last
Scored that huge cover and a multi-million dollar record deal
Yeah, I'd say that for me and my secretly straight honey, life could't be better
Can hardly wait for what's soon to come next
The book and the movie detailing in full the story of how we pulled it all off

So tell me
How many of you can we count on standing in line to buy a ticket?

*wink*

You tonight people so much Dear Ramona, they will come, you are to grace full, your legs are as arrows, that pierce the heart, and the closet where all of your finery stays on call..they trip over..still...iip
