Head Louse Poem by Lee Fones

Head Louse

continually scratching at your hair
but to be honest you don't care
as i call out your name Claire
staggering along too the local fair

lights of the fair brilliant white
winning prizes with utmost delight
went on ghost train, gave us a fright
came back home we had a pillow fight

walking home from Clair's house
turned around followed by a mouse
he was followed by a big grouse
scratching head, discovered head louse
