Heartache Poem by Kevin Dion

Heartache

Rating: 3.8

Tears in eyes

Tears in heart

No point for tears yet still pours like a stream down the river

Try to wipe them away but more takes their place

Running down a cheek like the olympic race

Nothing works have to quit

Tears in eyes

Tears in heart

Take a knife to the wrist make a nice slit

The demon's metal face digs deep into the skin with a grin

Till all the fear, passion, anger bruises out

Like a hurricane swiftly strews across the land covering all signs of abuse

Blood flows down the arm without a doubt

Release endorphin into body filled with pain never felt so low

High above from clouds in the stars it snows

Tears in eyes

Tears in heart

Gazing up falling slowly but surely flake lands on nose

There it is, you cannot tell, but there it glows

A face full of joy and smiles

She laughs with such enthuse with that cope that only last awhile

Feeling helpless for her I know not what to do

Standing face to face only to stare, all I can say is poor boo

Leaves me with a heartache

Inches away from a real break

Tears in eyes

Tears in heart
