My dear students, with difficulty…
We have started this journey together,
Across the wide ocean to this mystic land,
with a burning hope,
that this journey will full fill your lifelong ambition,
as future doctors to be.
As we begin this long and tortuous journey,
I requested that you have faith in me,
but still, many doubts linger in your mind.
My dear students,
For many months now, our ship has sailed,
Follow the captain, that you all do,
With the best crews on board.
We went through good times and bad times,
calm and stormy weather.
Together we stay and continue sailing we will,
for there is no turning back,
until we reach the shore of new discoveries and success.
O my dearest student,
Never forget that this journey is not an easy one,
It is long and tiresome, and our provisions are limited,
Let not the ship sink and no one should drown-
As a great poet says,
Life itself is a tear and a smile.
So, as rivers must flow to the vast open seas,
and clouds must touch the great heights of mountains,
God’s willing, surely and certainly,
This ship of ours will reach safely to its final destination.
So, struggle hard for your future smile!
I think the students in Belgaum are extremely lucky to have a teacher and mentor like you. A fantastic boost for the students morale. Great
