Heather Mason In The Cemetary Poem by Justin Gildow

Heather Mason In The Cemetary

Standing and staring from a far
Under this tree
In the cemetary
I see Heather Mason
And she's paying her last respects
to her dad who was killed

After a few moments
Some joyful and some melancholic
Heather says goodbye to her dad
Realizing it's time to go
Realizing it's time to move on
Realizing it's time to live again and be strong

Leaving the sight of her father's grave
She walks up to me
And embraces me

She's now lonely
I know it
I've always been lonely
She knows it

We embrace for the longest time
And I can hear her silently cry
