Heaven`s Rage Poem by Vlad Mutuleanu

Heaven`s Rage

Rating: 5.0

Though the might of insects
Seemed so bright,
When heaven`s gates break open
Even mightyness turns to dust.

The once indestructible fortress
Now trembles in fear,
The legions that once protected
Now begin to disappear.

As the night slowly turns to day
And oceans turn to desert,
What we believed invincible
Is now only a feather.

I flows in the air
Carrying but a message,
What we had before
Was only a dream of greatness.

The time has come
For us to see,
The whole world shatters
And heaven breaks free.

The sky is falling,
The thunders scream,
The shadows dissolve
And they, ... appear.

As everything there is
Starts to disappear,
What we called fantasy
Turns into reality.

For everything we`ve done
There will never be forgiveness,
The once great race
Is now, only an insect.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
In the darkest of nights, I wonder if the human race isn`t only a parasite, eating the core of their home. Then I like to imagine that a more powerful force will finally break that curse and set us free.
