'Hello, Stranger' Poem by rida zainab

'Hello, Stranger'

How often it occurs in life,
Eyes that spoke it all offer nothing right.
All the moments: good, that have passed by
Turning all the laughter into a good cry

A friend, among the crowd stands out
who seems to undersand it all, suddenly, ends it with a shout!

Why did that friend commit and then forget
The moments, the support: Oh! How I regret!

' This is how i am with everyone,
For you this is not special concern'
How simple it is for this friend of mine
That i am like ' everyone' and not 'someone': for him it is fine

Gradually, the euphoria leaves me
Awaken I do, how clear I see
Sincerity: a part of me is dead
Oh! friend of mine, it is now your turn to be mislead

Painful, the memories may be
Strength, however I feel, inside me
Eyes that once spoke it all
Have now nothing to offer other than observe
