Her Unsure Love Poem by Avery Eglantine

Her Unsure Love

He was good...
He was tall...
He was smart...
He was the best of what I want.
He is near
& he is far
but he's handsome for sure
He is someone I really adore.

Agone the time I never caught
Apace faster than what I thought
He is sometimes near
but is sometimes far
yet our world shall never depart.

That Illusion breathed long
days and more days came
Date came & so as 'so long'
Those days were never the same.

The man who's an apple to me
Lost, in an instant'ad flee

Then came thee, aye! came thee!
One, I thought to curse shall free

You were there at my side on my despair
Aye! you were there when none do care
again you were there to wipe my tears
years after years you sweep my fears.

was it love?
was it pity?
Am I commiserating?
Have I learned to forget?

The past, it was memoirs!
I shalt never a-live,
aye! -no more, no more
I'd forgotten belive

THE THOUGHTS OF THE SUITOR

Waited I, barely remembered
aye! my dear-I'm almost dismembered!
Thine thoughts half way to me
'ere was much eerie

I was frightened by thee
Thine words was curse to me
I lay back to blissful mask
I lay back to anonymous mask

That canvas was blank!
I was to unknown rank!
My Dulcinea, hear my beseech
These I cannot stutter to speech!

Leave me not as he did
Forget me never my dear!
for I shalt ne'er too
I was here, resting in my feet
across your heart beats...

Awaited I for thee to skip
Awaited I for thine accept
Awaited that I yclept
Thine lover and naught a thief...
