Here Comes The Wind Poem by Dorsey Baker

Here Comes The Wind

Here comes the wind
blowing so
very hard
come with me my love
lets get out of its way
we cannot let it be
the ship that takes us
away from one another
Here comes the wind
its eyes so cold
we cannot
let them look at us
let us pretend
that we have
disappeared
here comes the wind
my love
trying to
bite us
with its sharp teeth
lick us with its spicy tongue
here come the wind my love
its mouth wide open
its frosty beard
