Hey Why Not? Poem by Kathryn Brookins

This may seem silly, or even quite contrite...
but why all the fussing about personal insight?
Its a gift that not everyone has inside,
but hey, if you run into a person who does, don't run and hide!
There could be a message for you,
don't you want to know about what and who?
I know this seems silly, to place here and there,
but this is the subject that gets open stairs.
I know it is creepy and hard at times to take,
but hey what if its real and not a mistake..
not some voodoo or hocus pocus effect,
but a sight from within, why should we reject?
The Creator speaks to us in many fashions and ways...
Who are we to depict how and when and on what 'right' days?
All I am saying is.... this may seem silly, and it may not..
but so is a runny nose with green snot! !
But it exists,
so why not this?
