Open up my eyes let me see the light
show me the way don't let me give up this fight
push me in the right direction
and give me your protection

but why keep on going, what am i looking for
where am i heading if i can't get out of the door
there's never enough but i know there's more
free to take and all for me

but this fear of myself and all i may see
everything that has passed and will never be
and this fear of the unknown
of being free, of being alone

while guiding the way after never being shown

revealing parts of the story never telling the whole
they cannot see, they cannot know
my greatest mistakes and endless low
