Hidden Cheers
"Why do you have tears?
What pain shall you bear?
People asked me with surprise
"No, no they are hidden cheers" I was moved
Yes, we are free from foreign yoke
There is point with joke
What is there to celebrate?
I shall stand up and state
It is my country
Blessed by an almighty
With natural resources
And backed by strong nationalist forces
I shall keep head high
And see that national flag flies high
With wind's direction
It may speak of action
The bugle may show the anthem beat
For all my brethren o greet
Come here and rejoice
We have no choice
Country is for us
So dear and precious
We must defend and nurture
To find glorious place in future
