Hide Poem by William Brooks

Hide

I see you...
Hiding in your indecision.
Trying not to lose yourself.
Trying so hard not to ask for help.

You're falling into my hell
I'm reaching out my hand to help
You push it aside...
You're gone, no more need to hide.

(ALONE) You sit in the corner
(INSIDE OUT) My life is becoming hindered
(SORRY) I know it was me that pushed you
(HOPE) Is fading, or have I stopped looking?

My world is falling, tumbling around me.
Foundations are eroding from the tears, falling.
I can't stand on my own again.
I hear my name from the mouth of some one who stopped calling.

You're falling into my hell
I'm reaching out my hand to help
You push it aside...
You're gone, no more need to hide
