Home Before The Thunder Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Home Before The Thunder

we were home
before the thunder
tropical weather

fleet changes
temperatures
drop a tumbler

here comes
the rain dust
sprinkling

still
no inkling
of storm

torrents
still in store
when heavens

unleash
thrilling
dancing

rains
swift
spreading

claiming
roads
in flood tides
