Hope

We all hope,
For the sky to turn blue,
For the stars to shine bright,
For the word to be right.

We all hope,
For peace in the world,
For there to be love in our hearts,
For there to be no more darkness in our minds.

In May-time of the year,
Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
White doves come building there:
