How do you say I'm sorry
To someone you hardly know
Whose Words of compassion
Touched my very soul.
He is still such a mystery
That's what intrigues me.
When issues came to haunt me
All he wanted to do was protect me
Hoping to keep my Past at bay
I pushed everyone including him away
His words helped me see the light
That Love and Happiness were my right
I had to let the Past go free
In order to save me.
No idea what the future holds
But I'd like to see where it goes
So to someone you hardly know
How do you say I'm sorry
And I don't want you to go.
