How long must I wait
How long until the sadness ends
How long 'till this broken heart mends
How long can one man depend on fate

How long until you hold my hand
And feel my heart instead of stay apart
And souls touch in bliss
How long until we share a lover's kiss

How long until I touch softly your face
And hold my hands around your waist
So tired of this endless race
How Long must love unspoken go to waste

How long can a weary heart cry
And break over and over each time
How long until you are mine
Seems life's an endless empty rhyme

How long this longing for you
How long the hurtful uncertainty
How long must we wait
To be what we were meant to be
