How my poems born

Once I went to a river
And asked him to give me a poem
He said he would with one condition
If I could flow like his stream

Being dejected I came back
And went to the cloud
He promised to give me one
But I was asked to pour like rain

Next I went to the door
Of the wind for the same
He too asked me to blow like him

I am a human being
How I could do all those
I cried a lot in sorrow and pain
Out of which this poem is born

And blesses us;
The work we choose should be our own,
God leaves alone.
