Hug tightly to your dreams.
They bring you solace and comfort
Like the imaginary companions
Of your childhood.

When you box them up
And lock them away
In the attic of your mind
You begin to age.

The wine of aspiration
Becomes the vinegar
Of a defeated psyche.
