Hunting High And Low Poem by Justin Gildow

Hunting High And Low

I'm travelling on a white stallion to the accursed castle
And I'm grasping a shotgun and I'm bearing a sword as well
Love, I know you're here somewhere
I want to be with you tonight
I want to celebrate with you on this rainy and dreary night

The full moon beats down on me
From all angles the spirits of the departed corner all around
Anywhere and everywhere that I can see
So I do battle with the spirits
Giving them something they'll never forget

Sweetheart, I don't know where you are
But rest assured I'll find you
Whether it takes me the rest of this night
Whether the moon is out or not tonight
Whether or not the divining spirits are out to play
Or taking off to the night sky
Or that the rain drenches me
Wherever you are
I'll find you
Even if I'm hunting high and low
