Huntress Poem by Lilly Wells

Huntress

you see her in an alley way
beckoning you over
your weary and have no wish to go
yet those luminous eyes draw you to her
you keep fighting that urge deep down in your gut
but those luminous mysterious eyes keep beckoning you to her
you do not realize your legs move towards her
until you feel her hands move about you
in a seductive manner
you feel the lust and fear from your toes all the way to your soul
she whispers sweet nothingness into your ear
she moves closer to you so swiftly your not sure if you had imagined it
she smiles a sweet innocent smile
your fear turns strictly into that of desire for this beautiful creature
you try to kiss her
but she pulls away and teases you by rubbing up against you
you groan
hot passion building in your loins
she slowly kisses your lips
then moves down to your neck where you feel a slight pinch
you hear her growl in satisfaction as you start to feel a little faint
you mutter ouch as she bites and sucks harder
she does not let up
you try and pull away
but she latches on like a leach
sucking away your life energy
your lust turns in to that of fear as she lets go of your neck
long enough to kiss you and show her wicked white fangs
tainted with your blood
you try to scream in horror
but in that instance your heart slows to a stop
the last thing you see would be the woman kissing your lips
as if to say goodbye to her lover

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Lilly, all relationships seem like this when they turn sour, and each one goes their separate ways. This poem is a dark, heartfelt, and soulful write, about the sadness, loneliness, and hostility that a breakup can bring. Thank you for sharing. Love & hugs, Barbara
