I Am Bereft Of Anger (For Hunting Other Than For Food) Poem by Danny Draper

I Am Bereft Of Anger (For Hunting Other Than For Food)

I am bereft of anger
that has passed through rage
For the empty humans that
Cannot share or partake in this one Earth
They have removed themselves
from our greater ken
and the union of all life
They can no longer return to us,
not due to being out laws
But due to being outliers
from the sum of our potential
and better nature to know right from wrong
and respect inherently
the dignity of all life.

Again you lend voice to a relevant topic, on which I share your distain... never quite understood what pleasure is derived from the killing of innocents....you are a spokesman, for the sweet soul. PEACE

When we learn to love and respect the inherent dignity of all life and are able to distinguish the right from wrong, then we become noble human beings. A poem with a beautiful message!
