I Am Forced To Forget Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Am Forced To Forget

You told me not to call you ever
I paused and took a deep breath
To think about the past and the future
This is fine for my sanity and my health
I am forced to forget you and about you
To move on, so I can enjoy the dew
Of a new era, a new spring season
Many times, for no obvious reason
Some people go crazy and berserk
I have been a good man, not a jerk
You forced me to never think about you
Because I mean nothing to you now
I'm grudgingly reciprocating. I know the how
Maybe the why. Ok, I am no longer your boo.
