I believed when you said
That you love me more than anything else
Even though I knew it was just because there was no one else.

I believed when you said
Everything happens for a reason
Even though I knew it was just treason.

I believed when you said
You will be forever mine
Even though I knew I was one among the nine.

I believed when you said
That I am your Heart, Soul and body
Even though I knew I was being hurt, a fool and nobody.

I believed when you said
That ours will be endless love
Even though I knew yours will be fondles love.

I believed when you said
You just want you to be my wife
Even though I knew you never want me in your life.

I believed when you said
That I am the light of your life
Even though I knew I was the night of your life.

I believed when you said
That you will be beside me forever
Even though I knew that will happen never.

I believed when you said
Belief is all that we need,
Even though I knew relief from me is all that you seek.
