I Could Keep Going Poem by Manonton Dalan

I Could Keep Going

i have been dreaming for a while my love
i keep on going to fix those niceties up
there are times i think i am losing some
but i pause i look around, you're around
how could i, i not so close to forgetting
ripples on sunshine bleach river, morning

shiny round stone caught my peaking mind
i pick it up so smooth with lines so fine
there's a chip that makes it so imperfect
i buried that part in sand; now it's chic
i remember i pretend not see flaws in me
i could feel better today and another day
