I Dig My Mother And Yours Also Poem by Uriah Hamilton

I Dig My Mother And Yours Also

Rating: 5.0

Your mother tells you
You’re beautiful and special.

Your mother
Doesn’t know your friends,
Cool music,
Or what is sexy.

Your mother is right.

Enjoy and value your life.

Sometimes, being the intense writer's that we have the proclivity to be....we tend to take justified fine detail to an inapropriate plethora of hyperbole, and in doing so, we bury the message we initially intended to deliver, under a mass of verbosity. This simple piece has a voice loud, and pure... and its cherubic message nestles warmly in the mind of this reader.Very Well Done, Uriah, indeed! ~ F j R ~ __2008__

The unconditional love of a mother is indeed beautiful and special. My mother is over 90 years old. But I still prefer her opinion of my poetry above all the others. Take care. Always your friend, Sandra
