I Don'T Wish For A Fairy Tale Poem by Upasana Sharma

I Don'T Wish For A Fairy Tale

Neither the red roses,
nor the candle light..
No popping of the bubbly
on a moonlit night..
I don't live on the rainbow,
the huge castle isn't mine,
long tresses are Rapunzel's,
without the genie i do just fine!
Not the sea shore bonfire,
limo is too huge for two..
Don't want a life queen size..
only love n comfort will do!
All of it is impressive but
am not looking for materiality..
I don't wish for a fairy tale..
just a beautiful reality..

You are saying that you are not dreamy but practical. But the lovely lines reveals that you have an ideal dream within and that is something beyond materials. Nice poem.
