Oh Deceitful Death!
I feel your presence
At certain moments
In the deep darkness of the night
When the moon shines no more bright
You proceed with your slow speed
With gazing eyes I pay you heed.
Oh Demonic Disaster!
Meeting me on an endless path
Sometimes you show your heavy wrath
While I seek for utter happiness
You affect me with a touch of sadness
You cross your way from a little distance
I stare at you with my awful glance.
Oh Inevitable Denouement!
You show me your fearful vision
Whenever I am out of reason
I wish but I am unable to escape
You do to my nerves a literal rape
But why should I get away with you
You fill me with sadder and wiser view.

I love rhyme and you wrote this very well. The subject is an inevitable one that every poet confronts. Never stated better than you just did. GW62
Vaibav, a nice poem. your poems are wonderful, i really enjoy reading them and definitely they are worth reading and publishing..but you are too young to fear DEATH. enjoy your life to its fullest. practical life is hard and bitter. i hope you get everthing you wish for in life. take care
wish but I am unable to escape You do to my nerves a literal rape But why should I get away with you You fill me with sadder and wiser view. these lines touched me...., although the complete poem is beautiful, you vocab here is incredible... keep it up...

I would like to translate this poem
death is inevitable. its proximity has always been a subject of poetic imagination. an ordinary person may say why one should ponder over it. but a poet has a conscience and hence... good poem, vaibhav
