Every single day I wait, every single day I pray,
Hoping you'll return.
Even though you're gone, Even though you're far,
I still think of You.
You cared when other wouldn't,
You helped when others couldn't,
That I'll never forget.
Sometimes I get sad,
And wish you were here to make me glad,
Like you did when you were still here.
Why you had to leave, I don't know...
But this pain, will never go
The pain of knowing you're gone.
But now I have hope,
now I can cope,
With this pain I commonly feel.
You may never come,
You may be gone for good.
But if you do I'll be waiting.
