I'll take the truth about you
And arrange them in layers like an onion
Till your tears confirm
What my eyes have seen...
The truth is truly subjective, and always changing. The truth, when peeled away reveals more than you thought possible or impossible. A beautiful poem, once more, bravo!
Maestro… ‘What my eyes have seen’ ~ Sir you’ve kept readers in enigma…as good poets do…More feeling/filling/spilling economic words [without billing lolol] in … thanks for sharing… Regards Ms. Nivedita UK 10/10
That layer like an onion, fantastic. That was great. Short, sweet, but defenitly makes you think about it.
A very nice piece of work which makes one think further. Thank you. E.K.L.

Fantastic! Good job! The poet tries to make the truth -something subjective and abstract -to be like an onion which has many layers as the truth and when you go deep to the layers of the onion the result is your tears as you delve deep into the truth. This poem has a type of semantic architecture including truth, onion and its layers and eyes and tears. You employed two objective touchable phenomenons to reach the sad truth and your behavior to the truth is something unusual and poetic taking it and arranging it to the layers. This poem has lots of inner world stories in it. It made my week. Thank you for sharing. Wonderful! Congratulation 10
