I Love You So Much (I Love You Still Rewritten From My Dad) Poem by Jessica Henning

I Love You So Much (I Love You Still Rewritten From My Dad)

Rating: 5.0

baby, i seem to have run out of words to explain,
the cold lonely nights ive spent crying with pain...

when i told you to watch for me that im coming back,
to make up for the times and the love that you lack...

all these years ive been trapped in this drug-induced spell,
living life as an outlaw putting my family through hell...

never thinking about anyone just my own selfish ways,
being stoned through the nights and asleep through the days...

for hitting and stupidity they put me away,
all the years that its been that youve heard me say...

i love you so much more than all the stars in the sky,
i love you so much baby please do not cry...

i love you so much with every bone that ive broke,
i love you so much even under the influence of coke...

baby dont get it wrong i accept my mistakes,
and now that im older my lonely heart brakes...

when i hear that your hurting cause your daddy's not there,
or to help ease the pain when you shed a tear...

but i want you to know now that i do hear your voice,
ive given up drugs and ive now made the right choice...

i love you so much with every beat of my heart,
i love you so much more than i have from the stars...

i love you so much and this promis ill keep,
ill be home one day, Now hush... Go to sleep...

that's really such a perfect poem. I reckon a father and daughter relationship, is something that can only happen with two certain people. And missing out on the chance to have it, is somethig that stops you from being 100% whole. But this dad loves his daugther and wants it so bad, , haha yeah just making a fool of myself here. but yeah that is a really fantastic poem. lol 10/10! x stella
