As I am laying by your side
I try so hard to hide....
These emotions that are buried deep inside
Trying so hard to be strong for you
I love you; this I promise is true
Your eyes seem as if they are in a daze
Your spirit seems to slowly drift away
I can feel that I'm losing you
And suddenly I am left in this room
All I could do was cry....
Praying quietly to myself and asking... WHY?
Why take his life?
Such a sad, sad song...
He came to my life and now he is gone
