I'm Home

A treasured friend is gone today, He went where he could play
Although I miss him everyday, His pain has gone away
My best friend he will always be, Now he is watching over me

The toys he once loved, Are now overflowing above
The walks we used to take, Are now at his own pace

My love for him will never fade, What memories we have made
I know you will always be with me, For I can feel you next to me
This is not the end, For I will see you again

Until I do, I trust God in looking after you
