I'm Mister Nobody Poem by Peter S. Quinn

I'm Mister Nobody

I'm mister nobody
but I want to be someone,
I came here to be
a number before I'm gone!
A rise to a new dream
that I have found,
a light from a beam
from somewhere here around.

Refrain:
Mr. nobody
that nobody knows,
Mr. nobody
that comes and goes.
Are you him?
Are you him?

I think I can rise
in light of new day,
and be a surprise
in give and take away.
For all is here too
in my heart and way,
to make it come true
what I have to say.

Refrain:
Mr. nobody
that nobody knows,
Mr. nobody
that comes and goes.
Are you him?
Are you him?

I'm mister nobody
for I had nothing much,
but now I can see
I have my magic touch.
Just like everyone
that ever made a try,
you can go up and on
like a balloon to the sky.

Mr. nobody
You are him!
You are him?
