I Miss You Poem by Juan Olivarez

I Miss You

I no longer see your face,
I no longer hear your voice.
But they are what I can't erase,
My heart gives me no other choice.

I miss you, how I miss you,
But there's nothing for me there.
You were his when you said I do,
And thats what I have to bear.

But I miss you, I miss your eyes,
And I'll never be the same.
I look at the world and see cloudy skies,
And I'm the only one to blame.

Don't bother calling, I can't talk to you,
Don't bother writing I can't read through the tears.
Whatever was in me, broke out and flew,
I'll walk without you, down through the years.
