I Miss You Poem by Arun Maji

I Miss You

Rating: 5.0

in between my teeth
is the remnant
of your flesh, your flavour, your sweetness-
that I devour
when you are away, far away.

I get enough of you in that remnant.
but nothing is as fresh as warmth of your breath
nothing is as fragrant as fragrance of your wet hair
nothing is as sweet as petals of your flower
nothing is as nourishing as
sweetness of your buttery fruits.

believe me-
nothing can ever be as comforting as
solace in your embrace.
nothing can ever be as secure as
space between your ivory moons..
if I ever can hide myself there
none (even death)can touch me.

where are you my love
where are you?
I am so alone, and lonely
I am so abandoned and anguished
I am so sad and mournful!

every moment without you
is an aeon of pain
every memory in your absence
is a stab of cruel knife.
I can't bear it, I can't bear it any more.
please, send me your kiss
in wings of today's incoming breeze.
send me your sweet whisper
in whistling song of western wind.

I miss you my love,
I miss you so much.
