I must feel my heart burning
Burning again
As it did in the night of anguish
When Night in his gaudy car
Put out one by one the twinkling stars
And no moon smiled but clouds:
And there lay darkness on the firmament
Then will my heart burn again in anguish
And beat the thrill of fear and despondency
And there lies darkness on the firmament.
