I Must Of Deserved It Poem by Jennifer Birchall

I Must Of Deserved It

Rating: 4.4

Did I do something to deserve all of this?
My eyes are no longer the shining diamonds glistening captivated you
They are angry crimson they hold much sorrow
My skin is not perfectly soft and bright as an autumn dawn sky
It's the leaves that have fallen hard and withering
My lips are not the perfect red like rose petals
They now rarely but smile
My mouth once kissed so delicately
Now hold words spouting poisoned venom
My body was held so tightly and caressed so gently
Is now scarred and damaged
My heart was bursting with enough love for a universe
Now it's a black hole a void
A beautiful flower without water wilted and died
Yes I deserved it
