I Need The Sunshine
I need the sunshine
As I wake up from the dream
To make my life beautiful
Full of verve and energy as a stream
I need the sunshine
To feel its warmth on my face
To receive love from heaven
To have a life full of beauty and grace
I need the sunshine
And need a new dawn to herald
To spread love and peace
To live in harmony in a beautiful world
I need the sunshine
To be a man wise and brave
To feel His presence in me
As my steps drag me toward my grave
