I Once Found
I once found heaven,
But I couldn't stay.
My wandering feet,
Led me away.
I once found an angel,
That loved only me.
But I left her in heaven,
Because it couldn't be.
I once found true love,
So true and sweet.
But I couldn't stop,
My wandering feet.
So I took off my shoes,
And threw them away.
And found her again,
And she let me stay.
