I Ponder
I ponder
Sunday,7th April 2019
I ponder over
for another cover
that may soon be available
for the people like me
I sit on the bench
and try to reach
on the formula
without any agenda
does there exist another world?
I was reminded and told
the death appears from nowhere
and takes our soul there
I neither give credence
nor seize the chance
to entertain such an idea
I make a sincere plea
yes, that divine boat may take me
entertain my wish and free
from this worldly bondage
and take soul away from the cage
Zannat* or heaven is taken for granted
as I never wanted to waste life
on worldly lust affair
I always acted fair
