I Remain Poem by Dagimawi Tujuba

I Remain

Rating: 5.0

My thrilling laughter pleads in favour of you
The causual blinks stunned by the honest view
The quiet, true eyes whisper to my soul and I surrender
Every single breath, all fearless moments i'm staying under
The fancy silence that I listen to, passing seconds of obscure wonder
The morning, the noon, the twilight, the fall
Still I smile, I weep, I wake and I sleep in thy loving hall
Still I stand, I fall, I ride and I stroll after thy fading call
Yet long gone, yet so far, and yet how precious you are.

A very different approach in poetry. The poem conveys the feeling while holding the mystery. Excellent.

A very beautifully written poem. If only we can be fearless all the time, you express this so well. Thank you so much for sharing.
