I Saw A Girl’s Flirtatious Wink Poem by Uriah Hamilton

I Saw A Girl’s Flirtatious Wink

Rating: 5.0

The world is drunken daisies
Staggering and singing
Happy songs in the sunlight.

There is only love
In every wine glass
Smiling at midnight.

There is no denial.
That desire
Intoxicates every fool,
But I want to dance
Beneath every
Exhilarating streetlight
Romantically flashing
Until the lazy dawn
Of demurring dreams.

You are the last of a dying breed, Uriah - a true romantic man. Very nice poem - good imagery here as well. My warmest regards and respect, CJ

I loved it, especially the first and last stanzas. I happen to love dancing in the rain at night under moonlight or a streetlight. It's very fun and quite free. Have yourself a time, Uriah.

I hope it doesn't rain on you Uriah, but then again, I don't think you would mind if it did somehow! Let you hair down man, and throw yourself into the celebrations. Have a happy time. Love Ernestine XXX
