I Shall Perform Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Shall Perform

I shall perform

I said to all
I shall not fall
But scale wall
And throw the ball

The ball shall read
"Come to me before you are dead"
I have means and ways
Can you decide to stay?

I guarantee you safe passage
No pain and agony throughout the age
Simple sailing with favorable wind
You will simply not mind

I shall not look around
To be noticed and found
Loitering aimlessly
And bleeding profusely

I can see the clear path
Trees are around and rivers offer cool bath
Birds chirp and animals roam around
I have my own ground

I see one goal
And respond to the soul
This world is definitely for me to stay
I shall perform and not go away
