I Told Her Everything Poem by Ravenna Bell

I Told Her Everything

Rating: 4.5

I told her everything
Down to the last
Drops of forgotten
Disappointment
And squashed dreams
She listened compassion
In bespectacled eyes
And kind mouth
Ways to bridge
And broach
Perhaps you could
She understood
And knows now
She won't spill
My secrets or
Judge my lack
Of love
