I Want To Set My World On Fire Poem by Corvette Nezumi Mikazuki

I Want To Set My World On Fire

I want to set my world on fire.
Nothing is worth anything anymore.
All value that was once there is gone,
Not even the trees will produce oxygen
Just set them all on fire.

Life’s not worth living when you can’t come alive
The value of living is then gone,
Just a waste of space and precious air
Just set myself on fire…

“You’re crazy! ” they shout;
“No, I’m finally happy! ” I answer in laughter
The fire surrounding me, the warmth I always wanted from your arms

I sit in the fire as it surrounds me,
A smile breaking my face
“All I wanted was to be accepted by the one I love…”
What foolish thought!

The fire begins to engulf itself with me
The fire creeping up my skin I burst into laughter!
What a beautiful sight!
What a truly marvelous sight to see! !

As my body burnt away by the fire,
My spirited dissolved gently as well…
My soul fluttered into the sky,
How truly beautiful;
Ones achievement to their happiness,
Even if it was just for that one moment…
At least they experienced their own happiness.
