I am so scared to close my eyes.
For all I see is your eyes
Staring intently back at me.
Your face is all what I want to see.
I wish I could let you know
That I miss you so much right now.
To my pain you will never heed.
This song that I write you will never read.
I yearn all day to hear your voice.
Just want to hear you say hello once or twice.
To call you many a times I have picked the phone.
But remembered you asking me to leave you alone.
To just feel your touch does my soul long.
The power of your touch on my face was so strong.
That I felt you could heal my pain and sorrow,
For you touch my heart will forever follow.
To see you my heart is restless.
Everywhere I go for you my eyes search tireless.
Hope to see a glimpse or even a shadow.
If not today I keep the hope of seeing you tomorrow.
Every chance I get I drive past your home at night.
Sometimes all I see is the dim bedroom light.
I drive away knowing you were somewhere there so close.
I wish I hadn’t taken my eyes off you when I had you close.
I long to be with you so much my dear
I love you is what I want to whisper into your ear.
I love you more than my soul and that I want you to know.
Please tell me this you know and my love away you will not throw.
